Ashtanga Yoga Weekend Retreat: August 7th to 9th, 2020

Immerse in the practice of the over 70 yoga poses of the primary series of ashtanga yoga. Learn the fundamental techniques of vinyasa, ujjayi pranayama(deep breathing), dristi(looking place) and mula bandha(root lock) to deepen your yoga postures and experience a deeply meditative state, while practicing asana. The primary series of ashtanga yoga is known as yoga chikitsa or yoga therapy and is designed to improve your health and eliminate disease. The primary series includes sun salutations, standing poses, seated poses, twists, back bends and inversions. Each workshop is designed to continuously deepen your poses and purify your awareness. The retreat experience will be enhanced by contemplating insightful yoga sutras, meditation instruction and meditation.

50-hour Yoga Teacher Training Intensive: August 7th to 14th, 2020

Caroline Klebl teaches a comprehensive yoga teacher training program to yoga teachers, aspiring teachers and all levels of yoga practitioners. Her yoga teacher training combines high standards of yoga asana practice with the development of teaching skills, which are necessary to introduce students to yoga practice safely and effectively.

• Practice of the over 70 postures of the Primary Series
• The principles of Vinyasa, Bandha, Drishti and Ujjayi Pranayama
• Adjustments and Teaching Techniques
• Assisting and supervised teaching
• Introduction to Ayurveda
• Meditation Instruction
• Chanting and Philosophy of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras
• Restorative Asana practice
• Yoga Nidra

Asana practice is the main focus of the course. Additionally, you learn how to meditate, chant the yoga sutras, observe, adjust and practice teaching yoga poses. You experience the benefits of yoga practice first hand. Throughout the course you improve your strength and flexibility, reduce stress, improve your yoga posture practice and learn new yoga poses. The practices of yoga and meditation are designed to purify the body and mind and lead to spiritual awakening. By the end of the course you feel more relaxed, in better shape, focused and can begin teaching yoga with confidence.
