Ashtanga Yoga Retreat & 30-hour Yoga Teacher Training: August 11th to 16th, 2024

Caroline Klebl teaches comprehensive yoga teacher training programs to yoga teachers, aspiring teachers and all levels of yoga practitioner. Her yoga teacher training combines high standards of yoga asana practice with the development of teaching skills, which are necessary to introduce students to yoga practice safely and effectively. Hundreds of students have graduated from her renowned yoga teacher training programs.

TOPICS INCLUDE:
• Practice of the over 70 postures of the Primary Series and Intermediate Series
• The principles of Vinyasa, Bandha, Drishti and Ujjayi Pranayama
• Adjustments and Teaching Techniques
• Assisting and supervised teaching
• Introduction to Ayurveda
• Meditation Instruction
• Chanting and Philosophy of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras
• Restorative Asana practice
• Yoga Nidra

Asana practice is the main focus of the course. Additionally, you learn how to meditate, chant the yoga sutras, observe, adjust and practice teaching yoga poses. You experience the benefits of yoga practice first hand. Throughout the course you improve your strength and flexibility, reduce stress, improve your yoga posture practice and learn new yoga poses. The practices of yoga and meditation purify the body and mind and lead to spiritual awakening. By the end of the course you feel more relaxed, in better shape, focused and can begin teaching yoga with confidence.

To prepare for the course, please practice yoga asana, preferable ashtanga yoga 3 to 6 days a week. At the end of this training each student receives a 30-hour yoga teacher training certificate, which can be applied to 200 or 500-hour yoga certification or continuing education credits with the yoga alliance.
